ELVN is a design studio committed to safeguarding knowledge passed down from matriarchs while embracing a regenerative practice. Textiles are a tangible medium through which history and compassion move from one generation to the next, from maker to holder. These are everyday objects meant to be lived with, bringing texture, care, and story into the spaces we inhabit.
Many ELVN pieces are contemporary expressions of bojagi, created to hold light, memory, and presence. Composed from repurposed cloth and stitched in-studio, these works draw on Korean patchwork traditions to create objects that are
both functional and reflective. Placed in front of a window, they filter light like softened stained glass.
The ELVN x Old Stone Trade capsule collection of cushions is an evolution of a quilt pattern taught to me by my grandmother, Lightning in the Rainforest, reimagined in a David Hockney–inspired color palette.
